About Our Program
Art for Connection — Young Artists
Art for Connection — Young Artists is a public community arts program designed to help children build confidence, creativity, and self-expression through drawing, painting, mixed media, and collaborative projects.
Enrollment is open to all children. No prior art experience is required.
Inclusive & Supportive Environment

Our Programs
Creative Opportunities for Every Young Artist
From after-school sessions to summer camps, we offer programs designed to meet young artists where they are in their creative journey.
Format & Ages
Formats:
- Private sessions (1:1)
- Small group sessions (2–3 learners)
Program Setting
Sessions take place in:
- Queens (studio/community space)
- In-home (Queens)
- Community locations such as libraries and parks
- Art Museums (Wednesdays, 10am–6pm, various locations)

Saturday Art Studio
Explore painting, drawing, and mixed media in a fun, supportive environment.

Teen Creative Lab
Advanced techniques, portfolio building, and collaborative projects for teen artists.

Summer Art Camp
Immersive week-long camps exploring different art forms and cultural traditions.
